Clean your tong.
When your tong gets a little dirty, wash his head with warm water and dishwashing liquid. To finish, polish with a scrub sponge and cream detergent.
The Donkey Long Tong 32" is long enough for you to play with fire safely. The Donkey Tong 27" comes in slightly shorter, so you can flip your meat with ease.
One manages the fire, one handles the meat. The fire tong has a shell-shaped head to grip coals while the meat tong has a uniquely designed head to grip and flip meat.

I did not order them for myself. I gave them as Christmas gifts. They LOVED it! I did not put it on my wish list, but I thought Mrs. Clause would have realized I wanted one. so, I will have to treat myself. thanks for making a great pair of tongs.

I have to say they are heavy and seem well made. I got the combo set, and I will say the 32” ones are enormous!! Probably too large for simple grilling, but you could turn your food over from across the deck.
If you’re on the fence, stop wasting time and buy the tongs! Best accidental discovery I’ve made in a long time. Not only are the tongue super high-quality but the customer service is out of this world. I’d buy them again just for the guys who make them because they really do go above and beyond and that’s hard to find these days. And the tongs are exceptional quality. I can reach everything now. 😂😂

Food and fire are two different jobs, and they need two different tools. The Donkey Tong 27” handles your meat - its head flips meat cleanly without piercing or tearing it. The Donkey Long Tong 32” is designed for fire. It grips wood, moves coals and handles flames. Together, they make grilling effortless.
Yes, each tong is packaged separately and ready to impress on arrival! We use a special handwrapping technique that will score you some serious brownie points.

Warm water, dishwashing soap and a good scrub. Nothing works better than elbow grease. These are built like Donkeys. Durable, hardworking, reliable. In other words, quite low maintenance. Dry it properly afterwards and it’ll stay looking like new for years.
Unfortunately, our Donkeys are not dishwasher safe, mainly because they won’t fit.
